SOCIAL STUDIES The Social Studies Department strives to give its individuals a broad knowledge of the world in which they live, is a philos- ophy expressed by Dr. Moffat, head of the department. This aim, spiced with such deli- cacies as Dr. Folsom ' s significance and Dr. Fincher ' s knowledge of the presidency, has won for the department a cherished place in the memories of its students.
