LANGUAGE French, Latin and Spanish are offered to those who wish to progress beyond Le chapeau de ma tanle , El burro es un ani- mal. , and Amo, amas, amat . For a few, there is a year of study in foreign lands. The faculty and students of the language depart- ment find reward in uncovering the common bond of man as it lies veiled in strange words, customs and garments. INDUSTRIAL ARTS Industrial Arts is another of the new de- partments which promises good things for its members and for Montclair. Through In- dustrial Arts the wonderful work of honest, gifted hands has been accorded its proper place. Sometimes hurried, and often lacking space and equipment, students and instruc- tors in this field have always managed to contribute to the improvement of the college, and do credit tn their own aliililies. Carl E. Frankson. Ph.D.. Dept. Head; Earl. Ed.D. Reynolds, Hall HOME ECONOMICS . lthough the Home Economics Depart- ment is in its infancy, it has many assets: a new building, a dream kitchen, sewing machines, and a luxurious living-room. Under the supervision of its two faculty members, the students attend conferences in many colleges. The results of such activ- ity and vision here can be measured by the pride which the department creates in those outside of, as well as within, its program. Katharine B. Hall, Ph.D., Dept.
