AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS The two faculty members who constitute the Audio-Visual Aids Department hold, in a sense, the key to successful teaching. They place at our disposal, not only the mechan- ical devices which enrich and highlight anv subject, but also their own time and in- valuable experience in the use of these aids. Whoever has turned to this department for assistance knows how important a part it plays in preparing us to merit the name of Teacher. Emma Fanlone. A.M.. Dept. Head: Sheft. A.M. Fantone. Those who follow a path must always look to one who has traveled it before them. We. the class of 1957, were guided along our way by the sincere assistance of Mr. Edward Ambry. Adviser. He accepted our problems with the good spirit that is familiar to all who have ever asso- ciated with him. Whatever our plan or choice as a group, Mr. Ambry wanted it to be the richest in experience, t he most beneficial in eflfect. It will be good to remember him as part of this cycle of existence.

FIELD STUDIES The intrigue of far places forms the basic foundation of the Field Studies Department. Building upon this intrigue, the department arranges tours and programs which will pro- vide a learning experience made more mean- ingful and lasting through pleasant activ- ities. Our professional stature is increased by awareness of the customs and surround- ings forming other civilizations. FINE ARTS The young and rapidly growing Fine Arts Department provides students with a double advantage. Not only are they able to express themselves creatively, but they enjoy the use of four modern studios in the beautiful new classroom building. These facilities, directed and supplemented by a strong pro- fessional faculty, make possible a wide range of experimentation in all the phases of art. Here traditional and modern forms receive a just treatment. The spirit of art is pre- served and venerated, for personal, profes- sional and scholastic satisfaction. FINE ARTS Lillian A.
