Improving their record in goals scorec quadruplefold to sixteen goals and cutting the number of goals scored against them by half to 35 werejust 2 of the accomplishment: achieved by the Warriors. Only 2 games separated 5th place from 9th place in the Denver Prep League. A number of individua players also distinguished themselves, among them Senior Andy Martinez, Team Captain. He selected to the first All City Team, A1 honor which has been denied a Montbello player for many years. Also receiving Honorable Mention were Jeff Wolff, Co-Captain, Bil Thomas, Goalkeeper, and Jason Martinez. Though Montbelloz, final record was 2-8-2 most of the games that were lost were decideo by one point, and then usually in overtime.
