ROW 3: SHAWN POTTER, TOM PONY, TERENCE VINER, DAMION CASIAS, SHELDON LONG. The Warriors boy's soccer team just keeps on improving in offense and defense. Improving their record in goals scorec quadruplefold to sixteen goals and cutting the number of goals scored against them by half to 35 werejust 2 of the accomplishment: achieved by the Warriors. Only 2 games separated 5th place from 9th place in the Denver Prep League. A number of individua players also distinguished themselves, among them Senior Andy Martinez, Team Captain. He selected to the first All City Team, A1 honor which has been denied a Montbello player for many years. Also receiving Honorable Mention were Jeff Wolff, Co-Captain, Bil Thomas, Goalkeeper, and Jason Martinez. Though Montbelloz, final record was 2-8-2 most of the games that were lost were decideo by one point, and then usually in overtime.
