Hike, Levi, Trapper Keeper, and Adidas were just a few of the brand names that flashed in front of your eyes on the way to your classes! With a television agent, Montbello's student body could have made millions of dollars doing commercials for almost every product that was on the market. Ifwe did make some commercials they would've looked some- thing like this: Air Jordan, l'like's stylish basketball shoes gave you great speed as you ran through the crowded halls on your way to class, as well as great speed on the basket- ball court! Levi's stonewashed jeans and jackets came in many fashionable colors and they took the wear and tear of everyday student life, sitting in those hard classroom chairs, those lunchtime football games and much, much more! At the beginning ofthe year, Mr. Sreet, Mr. Pegues, and meetings, Warrior Gathering It was the beginning ofa whole new school year again, and everybody was getting to know each other. This year we had the chance to meet our new principal, Mr. Batey. At several class assemblies for the Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, Mr. Batey presented his goals and hopes for the new year. At each assembly, Student Council representatives gave their plans for activities during the school year.
