E-Day, which was held on March 7 and 8, is sponsored by the Anderson-Carhsle Society and is undertaken by the entire student body. Its purpose is to acquaint the pubUc of Butte and the surrounding communities with the type of education and pro- fessional background that the Montana School of Mines offers. Displays and lectures are utilized to depict the functions of the various departments. 83
