Those who knew and worked with Gary will feel a deep loss: his esprit de corps, his sincerity, and his warm friendliness build a memory for all to hold dear. Tragedy struck Mr. Alexander in a mountain climbing accident near Whitehall, Montana; his degree, however, has been granted with his class of 1959 and will be awarded posthu- mously. 31
