Short in stature, but big in heart, he carries out the duties of his oilice with avigorlv ASMSC hails from Great Falls. Her dark eyes and ready smile add life and humor to the senate oflice. e cute little secretary of Don Wolfe Vice-President Don, the second in command of ASMSC comes from Hardin. A senior, majoring in general studies, he shows his Wit and ability to de- bate in many Ways. Sandee Quickenden The student activities program was the main topic of discussion QB at the Student Senate workshop in Ennis. K, Secretary Comprised of the entire student body, ASMSC is the governing force in student administration. In order for its ofHcers to be successful, it demands that all students take a vital, active interest in college affairs. As in other forms of government, it is essential that support come from the entire body of people being repre- sented. College years offer opportunities un- limited in learning how a government operates. The individual student is important not only as a voter in student politics, but in the im- portant avenues of participation open to him as a member of ASMSC.

Will this meeting please come to order! With this, the Student Senate begins another session. Its membership is comprised of voting and ex- ofHcio members, who hold office for one full year, terminating with installation at the third regular meeting in May. Voting members are the vice-president, commissioners, class presi- dents, and greek and independent representa- tives, while the ex-officio senators represent publications, and organizations which receive funds from ASMSC. While in session, the Senate examines many widely varying topics ranging from the most serious discussions on budgets down to the more humorous aspects of campus life, including Speed E. Gator, the MSC alligator who captured Hrst place in the National Al- ligator Race and brought fame to MSC. Speed E. Gator's trophy
