ENGINEERING lt used to be that an engineer was a guy in a Smoky Stover hat who threw pgnnies to kids in country schoolhouses and tooted steam through a whistl: when he saw a cow on the track, Not any more. An engineer is now a guy who goes to MSC for four years, takes either civil, architsctural. electrical, industrial. chemical, mechanical engineering or en- gineering physics and goes out into a technological World trained to do everything but flush a water closzt. lt is assumed by the Engineering Division that the student has picked up this ability somcvvhers- along the line. 20 .1 Al H.
