The Exponent's editor, ANN MAHAN, did o commendoble job with the weekly poper, managing to use more pictures than formerly even though plagued by a lack of funds. Ann is a Home Ec major and member of Alpho Gamma Delta sor ority. HUB WHITE, Assistant Director of Publications, is the faculty advisor for the Exponent. It is his lot to counsel ond COU tion throughout the yeor DEAN VAUGHN, proved himself a top-notch Business Manager who often brought in advertising enough to support an extra two pages for the paper. Dean is majoring in Agricultural Economics, and offilioted with Sigma Alpha Epsilon froternity.

 1946 Sooring high with super plans for the 1946 yearbook. Editor Patty Rend finally decided, offer a winter of facing the cold facts of shortages including money, film, and paper, that any londing you can walk away from is a good one. Patty is an Applied Science major and a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. Janice Gaines from Bozeman had the difficult task of taking over the job of Business Manager in the spring when the other students left school. Tying-up loose ends and distribution were copobly performed by this Applied Science major who is a member of Chi Omego sorority Louis G. True, Director of Publications and Advisor for the Montanan wos indispensable in giving advice and providing numerous pictures of the campus and students for use in the book. He helped the book over several crises. Suzanne Hinman (on opposite page) os Business Manager performed the job of getting advertisements, poying bills, and struggling with finances during a year of radically changing enrollment. A Secretarial major, Suz is a member of Pi Beto Phi sorority. 80
