A tribute meant to express gratitude for something or someone often tends to become trite and perhaps a little insincere in the meaning it conveys. That statement was made because what is about to he said is meant with perfect sincerity and solmnncss. To us the word tribute does not sufficiently express the feeling that goes from us. the students of MSC. to those men of the Army Air Corps and ASTU that were on our campus this year. Without them there would never have been a college feeling, and indeed there may have been no school at all. They were our friends and our firmest hope is that wherever they are now, they will remember us as wc do them. We hope they will have pleasant thoughts of MSC and that perhaps some day they will come back. May that time be soon and may it be Peace that brings them. Until that time, wc thank you. men of khaki, for being here and helping us to preserve our Alma Mater and for keeping our morale up. May God be with you.
