Eastern Offers Wide Course Selection r A strong teacher education curriculum and general education courses are the primary emphasis of Eastern Montana College. From the sciences to the humanities, Eastern offers a wide range of courses for the prospective teacher as well as for the student who is planning his major in a field other than education. With a liberal arts degree possible in the near future. Eastern is expanding at a rapid, but solid, pace. The curriculum expands each year and gives the student the opportunity to enrich his wealth of knowledge and experience. This section depicts the academic Eastern, the Eastern we tend to take for granted, but the most important aspect of any college. Larry L. Ifarman and Herman Krum examine a cray- the first time that Eastern had offered a biology labo- fish in an anatomy class. The 1962-63 school year was ratory for its students.
