1957 GOVERNING BOARD MEMBERS OF THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION give much time and thought to work of the University of Montana. EASTERN’S LOCAL EXECUTIVE BOARD is a group appointed by the Governor to coordinate the college’s program of education with the needs of the state. Its members perform an advisory and consultative service in their relationship to the college president and to the State Board of Education. As the college concentrates more on the live vital problems of the state, the citizens will also perform a greater service for the college.
