(fauvctty @otleye Growing with the community of Billings, Eastern is gaining in both population and reputation. As we look back over the progress of Eastern we can see its achievements as well as its growing pains; we can see an expanding institution, that formed from a nucleous of a need for an Educational site in the Billings area. Looking over Billings as well as the vast territory around it, we see many fine accomplishments of our college. The teachers, the business and professional men and women, all of those who have come, have learned and have gone out to contribute to their community and society many of the riches gained at Eastern. In many ways they have given spark and direction to the society of which they are a part. PAGE 2

t t ddnccviety @ommuttct t When we compare our campus today to the campus of Eastern ten years ago, we note the new buildings and the increased numbers of faculty and students. Also in this comparison, we note the increased prestige of the rank of Eastern in the field of Education. When we think of Eastern, we can well be proud of our college, our faculty, and our opportunities. Along with our campus expansion, the expansion of the democratic ideals that have grown with our college have given students an added opportunity to learn and grow into a society of which we shall soon be as much a part as our college. We can not remember Eastern, and our years spent here, without remembering the many advantages that were offered to us as students, in all phases of our campus life, when we were growing with our college. page 3
