alma mater Words and Mulic by Thoruen N. Berggren Where the Yellowstone meets the Rimrock Under heaven's arching blue, e will raise our song to Eastern, Alma Mater here's to you. When our youth's bright sun is shining, When life's clouds are small and few, We will raise our song to Eastern, Alma Mater, here's to you. As the years roll swiftly onward, And our lives are filled with care, Our fond thoughts will turn to Eastern And the happy hours spent there. Where the Yellowstone meets the Rimrock, When night’s stars come shining through. We'll still raise our song to Eastern, Alma Mater, here's to you. —s— dedication DR HARLAN C. HINES Professor of Psychology In appreciation for many years of enlightened service to the school and the community, the 1954 RIMROCK dedicates itself to Dr Harlan C. Hines and Dr. Richard L. Means. These men have made vast contributions to their fields as well as to the many students they have had during their careers. Now in a true western spirit they are putting aside their boots and spurs, but not throwing in the towel. To Dr. Hines and Dr. Means the students of EASTERN MONTANA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION take this opportunity to express their heartfelt gratitude for a job well done.
