N 5-f V. rCQS1f3'p' , Kulfural Mont Pleasant has not forgotten the need for culture, which every student needs to extend his intellectual scope and enlarge his capabilities. This year, Mont Pleasant is proud to welcome back the celebrated Mr. Cleveland Howard, the school's -Music Department chairman, who has just recently returned from an extended leave of absence. Mr. Howard, known for intense concentration and perfection in his field, has shown that Mont Pleasant can indeed boast of a fine Music Department. The de- partment is composed of a two hundred Voice choir, in addition to an elite group of forty five students, known as the symphonic singers, whose voices when raised in unison astound and completely captivate the average listener.
