Administration has been aware of the changes in the world around us and has endeavored by constant modification of curriculum to furnish us with one of the keys that opens the gates to new horizons. Our cafeteria has been renovated so that our students will now be in a position to obtain a choice of three lunch plates. The purpose of the renovation is to help students obtain combina- tions which are nutritionally well-balanced. We have a new chemistry laboratory which is completely equipped to teach modern chemical semi-micro-technics. As we go along the halls, we come to the practical nurseis laboratory. Here, again we find new equipment for practical exer- cises. In addition, the nurses have their own of- fice suites, the color scheme of which was de- vised by Mr. Hickey, our assistant principal. This motif is utilized throughout the practical nursing area. The physical education locker room area has also been renovated in that the instructional staff now has new offices which are in the self-con- tained locker area. The technical electrical laboratory has been re- furbished to accommodate new equipment and furnishings of the latest design. Our guidance office has added a new secretary and boasts individual offices for each counselor. It also contains offices for supporting services such as the New York State Employment Serv- ice. The physical changes in the building were insult' Mr. ,loseph Zizzi, Assistant Principal in charge of the Technical Department. Mr. .luck Hickey, Assistant Principal. N, made for the benefit of the student body. For success is not solely a product of any one place or person-it is a sum total of many diversified factors. Each little section is a key to the development of strong bodies and sound minds, but the mas- ter key is the individual, one who can open every door if he will but learn to utilize the greatest key of all: individual initiative. Mr. Armand Severino, acting Assistant Principal in charge of the Technical Department. 1 ',4'W'
