Pleasant Fairways - Always! This year Miss Grace Castor, one of tne three original members of Mont Pleasant’s faculty, will retire. Miss Castor received her B.S. at Temple University in Philadelphia where she was born and reared. After this June she plans to work full time on real estate and squeeze in a game of golf when- ever possible. Miss Castor is the original organizer of both G.A.C. and Moppettes, and during the years she has been at Pleasant, she has seen many changes. She believes that now due to strain and confusion students tend to overload or overbalance them- selves as to school work and social activity. B.A Home Economics Recognition Through Responsibility Peace through understanding, the theme of the World's Fair states in three words the whole idea of the methods we may use to achieve peace with other peoples. Through understanding we can live together without fear of one another, and through un- derstanding we can work miracles. The teachers at Mont Pleasant pool their abilities and work together to help the students at Pleasant achieve this under- standing. Our teachers possess specialized skills in fields from physics to care of pre-kindergarten children, from science to the Arts. They know that passing on the accumulated knowl- edge of their specific fields to students can pave the highway to future understanding and scholastic success for generations yet unborn. Mont Pleasant is proud of its talented professional staff be- cause it has gained recognition for itself, the school, and the students by its ability to fulfill its responsibility of spreading un- derstanding and knowledge.
