And Thus Our Fairways Are Planned It is indeed a truism to state that any enterprise, however admirably conceived, rarely succeeds with- out elaborate preparation. The business of educa- tion is no exception, and administration is the function which gives direction and purpose to the profession. In Mont Pleasant High School, Mr. Joseph Collins, the principal, and Messrs. Jack Hickey and Joseph Zizzi are the triumvirate who address themselves to this fundamental task. This year, Mr. Hickey, recently appointed vice- principal, has assumed this responsibility in addi- tion to his work as instructor as well as Chairman of the Citizenship Education Department. His new duties include problems of individual scheduling, attendance, and general student body supervision. As a vice-principal, and Chairman of the Technical Department, Mr. Zizzi's work closely parallels that of Mr. Hickey's in many respects. In addition, both of these men in conjunction with the principal su- pervise our academic fairways to the future as they work continuously to broaden and expand the cur- riculum. It is through their combined efforts integrated with the work of our guidance department and total faculty that our fairways remain green and resilient, and a happy portent for future generations of alumnae. Mr. Zizzi, at a quiet moment in the Technical Office, thinks busy schedule. Mr. Hickey, our new Assistant Principal, ponders over his new job.
