HOME ECONOMICS -'---- MRS. MCCAUGHEY MRS. KRAEMER To build the homemakers of tomorrow. This is the aim of the home economics department here at Mont Pleasant. The courses are open to both boys and girls and are in a variety of fields. Many subjects that deal directly with the practical end of homemaking are offered. Clothing, consu- mer buying, and foods are a few. Courses that cover the social and management areas are family living and store problems. Handling money, fashions, so- cial conduct and proper etiquette, and most impor- tant of all, getting along with others, are empha- sized. Homemaking courses are not required, we choose them as electives. Therefore, we picked the individual courses which would aid us best in the future, - and they all probably will. O h d V MRS.
