6055 Oeln We gathered here in '43, We met our pals and friends to beg We came to stay for three long years, We had our doubts, our hopes, our fears. But soon we discovered as days came and went That to this school we slowly unbent, For it welcomed us with open arms, And wrapped us daily in all its charms. We entered as freshmen, so small and unknown To seniors with prestige we now have grown. We entered to learn, we'll go forth to serve, Rich now in knowledge, mem'ries and verve. We wish to thank this school of schools For having taught us the golden rule, We know what's ahead and we're ready to face The faults and weakness of the human race. Our three years here we would not trade For they're full of memories that will not fade: The quad in the spring-our clubs one and all- The cheering at football games in the fall, Our lunch in the caf -the Friday night dances- The passing of classes-the latest romances.
