F ll-XRI-T Soon we came to cross road whrth led rnto the woods We though rt sould be nrc t follow tht, road for a wax We were walkrng alon rdnnrrn the bll ls ana f ower when we saw '1 leautrful c tfrg untred the ropes whrch held her I rarsed her hefrd and gave her a drrnk of water It was qurte a few mrnu before she ras able to speak We managed to get her from the floor and helped her on the couch Then she told us that several hours before two rough lookrng men came rn and asked h r for money They drdnt bell ve her when he told them what monev she had was rn her pocket book so they tred ner up and ransacked the cottage then went away 'rnd l ft her She told us ner name w rs Mrs Jacobs and that she had been comrng to her cottage for everal years Her home was rn New York The frrends who was ft vert wealthy lady and had a beautlful home rn New Yo k When the wacatron eftson drew to a close and she had to go back home we were r alls vert s ru to see her go as we had lefrrned to lrl- her very much and hrd spent many pleasant hours wrth her Before she left she made us promise we would vrsrt her s me trme School opened shortlr after Mrs Jacobs return d home We were kept very busv wrth
