Howell, galned excellent experlence and ran second to none ln thelr abundance of Splrlt THE HOCKEY TEAM The Hockey Team, led by the versatlle Rlch Golden, engoyed a successiul season even though the lack of 1ce caused a number of games to be w1ped off the schedule Under the au plces of ooach Bus Reed, the puckmen Journeyed to QllDtOH, Nev York, to take part 1n the preparatory school hockey tournament sponsored by Hamllton tollege W.ll1ston was readlly defeated by the Monsonites, but two successlve defeats at the hands of Nestmlnster and Mt Herman schools put the team 1n a tle for thlrd place honors Sharlng the spotllght wlth Golden were Blll Mack and Jav LaGasse, who carrled the offenslve burden, wnlle Henry Paszko, Jerry McGarte and Andy Townend were the key men on the defense. 0 0 ' : X A ' A 1 . .... . . , . ,,.
