DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN Tne openlng day of school brought nearly lOO Lellows together ln the Holmbrook dlnlng hall for thelr flrst ionson meal of the fall seme ter Meatloaf The Junlor Varslty football Team vlrtually slaughtered all oppos1t1on 1n recordlng an undefeated and untled season Tne Varslty Hockey Club gourneyed to tllnton, New York, to partlclpate ln a preparatory school hockey tournament sponsored by Hamilton College The members of the Varslty Bootball Team, after a very successful season, dunked Coach Strout, the managers and one of the captains 1n a sw1m 1ng pool adgacent to the new fleld The new atnletlc fleld was dedlcated on Parents' Day oefore qulte large crowd That day found the Varslty Football Team w1nn1ng a thrlller over Wllllston Academy lu 13, to start the ileld oif ln the proper manner The annual wlnter term dance was held 1n the school gym, and a nlsht of good danclng and dellclous refreshments were engoyed by all The Academy was quarantlned for one entlre week due to a sllght case of bcarlet Fever The Academ Masquer presented three very flne one a t plays 1n the Monson iown Hall lhe plays, Uln the Zone,n Curse the V1lla1n 15 Fblled and WDress ReversalQ'were expertly produced by the school's f1H6St actors The fast and furlous lntramural games were staged 1n the school gym liter several rounds of thrllllng basketball, the Morrls Maulers defeated the Cushman Comedlans for the Academy Chamolonshlp The Var 1ty Soccer Team, after an up and down season, came through w1th 6XCltlHg V1CtOT16S ln thelr two flnal games of the year and over strong college freshmen clubs!
