Under the tutelage of Mr. C. Dmmcan Yetman and Mr. Arthur J. Martellucci, the talented newsmen around the campus were given an oppor- tunity to display their literary talents. Gossip, sports and social events usually headlined the paper, while several exclusives were also rolled off the press. The seniors who wrote for five issues were well-rewarded at the end of the year, receiving gold pins with the inscription The Monson Spirit.
