l G2 E-32' 'f 01 Q Intramural Sports 8 UI , 3 EN Mr. Strohmeier announced, on March 4, that the school was in quarantine, ESE Qi things looked rather had for a while. The last two games of a successful basketball QQ season had to be cancelled. But there were some in the school with an optimistic view- Qs 3 point, who looked ahead and said, Why not have some basketball games between Q Q the seniors and the underclassmenf' Realizing the wisdom of this idea, the seniors QD started the ball rolling by challenging the underclassmen. After this game had been QE 2 played another game was arranged and played. Of these two games, the seniors lost the E53 Q lirst but won the second. The Morris House team and the Cushman Hall team were QD called the Tigers', and the AngOras respectively. Both sides were fairly well Qt hd dh h dh a- mnsh' ofechteam v Q matc e , an t e games s owe t e goo sports a ip a . E3 Q Now that we are out of quarantine, the same idea has carried over into baseball, one Q! i game having been played already. This the Cushman Hall Dogs won. Evidently ,' igm they think that Dogs will do better work than AngOras . As this book goes to Q Q5 press, there is at least one more game to be played which the Tigers intend to win. The members of the team competed successfully, J thanks to the careful coaching given by Mr. Benton, with throughout the country, under the auspices of the National Rifle Association of America. -are This year's record was seriously impaired by the recurrent school illness although the matches that the club did fire were far better than the corresponding matches last QQ' year.
