KIMBALL SHAW iff in Gimil-lE Monson Academy Orchestra, a development of '28 and '29, gives promise of being a fine organization in years to come. Under the leadership of Mr. Henry Billings X K5 the orchestra has given a concert in Palmer for the benefit of the Wing Memorial gif Hospital, a second in the Chapel for the friends and students of the Academy, and a if third on the evening of May fourth, the celebration of the birthday of Frank Chapin I 0, Cushman. The last concert this year will be given on june the sixth in conjunction with the Glee Club for the Alumni, friends, and students of the Academy. The orchestra is composed of seven pieces: a piano, banjo, clarinet, trumpet, sax- A QJA ophone, drums, and Xylophone. Mr. Billings plays the violin when leading. bi f-fy: 'INTO The school this year purchased two saxophones for the use of boys interested in learning how to play.
