As editor of the CORNERSTONE, it is my privilege to end the book with a letter. It is a privilege which I alone do not deserve. It takes many, many people to produce this book. A lot of hours were spent typing, writing, scheduling pictures, and setting up pages. Mr. Frank Bolton, the representative from the publishing company, spent many of those hours poring over each page as we submitted it, a task for which he receives our deepest appreciation. Many thanks to the photography club led by Mr. John Orlowski and Dave Lee for their cooperation in supplying the candid photos which are so important to this book. I have to thank especially Mark Bongiorno, Peter Denzler, John Morano, Peter Nigro, and Theo Ruberti, who were the section editors, and John Helbock, Jack Lucid, John Mastrorilli, Mark Torre and John Tumminello for devoting so much time after school, and during vacations in order to meet deadlines. Most of the credit for the publication of this book goes to Br. Kirk Phelps. Without his vast knowledge and common sense, this book would be an example of mediocrity. Out ofthe dozens of people who worked on the CORNERSTONE, I am grateful for the honor of being Editor- in-Chief. It has been a wonderful and educational experience. I hope that this year 's CORNERSTONE is an enjoyable one, and that the members ofthe class of ,82 will look at it in the years to come and remember their years in Farrell. Respectfully, Michael Peteroy Editor-in-Chief CORNERSTONE 1982 2
