ZEX Or BAT INSTIT TIO y 1 The Zen Combat Institution is moderated by Mr. Bill Monks and is now in its fifth active year. Consisting of thirty-five members, the club is designed to build self- confidence, self-control, self-defense, and self-determination. On many occasions they have demonstrated their expertise in the skills of Karate and internal power to the students and various other groups. SCIENCE F ICT ICN CLUB The Science Fiction Club, moderated by Miss Wheeler, serves as a gathering place for those students who are interested in science fiction and fantasy books, games, films, and other related topics. The main activity of the club is its annual publishing of Environ, a collection of stories, art, and poetry submitted by mem- bers ofthe club. The editor and club president is Bill Hyland.
