USHERS SOCIETY N One of the largest service organizations is the Ushers Society, moderated by Mr. McManus. The ushers are responsible for the setting up and taking down of chairs and tables for group events such as meetings and liturgies. They also are in- volved in escorting the Homecoming contestants and organizing the senior graduation ceremony. .J SE IOR PROM COMMITTEE 244 The Senior Prom Committee, moderated by Mr. McManus, is composed of a dozen seniors who work diligently to plan and carry out the yearly senior prom to in- sure its success.

FRENCH CL Moderated by Br. Wright, the French Club is in its eighth active year. The club's function is to present a more broadened View of the French culture through the use of slide shows of past trips to France, and movies of French history. ITALIAN CLUB The Italian Club is co-moderated by Father Villani and Brother Catalano. The club culturally enriches the students and brings forth a greater appreciation of Italy 's contributions to Western culture via art, food, music, and films. 24

KEY CLUB In it's second year at Far- rell, the Key Club, with over 55 members, is one of the most popular clubs. It is mo- derated by Br. Sullo and or- ganizes many charity raising activities, and other service projects, which are an im- portant element in a stu- dent's Catholic education. LIBRARY CLUB f The Library Audio fVisual Club plays an indispensable role in the everyday workings of the school community. On a daily basis, they distribute the audio f visual equip- ment to and from the faculty rooms. Under the direction of Sr. Kelliher, they also aid in the upkeep of the library facilities. X 245
