Mr. Anthony Marra This marks Mr. Marra's second year at Farrell. In only two years he has taught religion to freshmen,juniors and seniors. Mr. Marra's de- grees include a B.A. from Iona College and an M.A. from the Columbia Union Theological Seminary. MHZ. .ii Brother Thomas Kalinowski In his first year at Farrell Brother teaches senior electives in both religion and English. Before coming to Farrell Brother taught at Sa- cred Heart School in Manhattan and All Hollows Institute in the Bronx. He has a B.A. in English from Iona College and an M.A. in religious studies from Manhattan College. Brother Kalinowski is the assistant moderator ofthe yearbook. In his spare time Brother enjoys travel, theatre, music, and reading. O God, my heart is ready Ps. 57 -as .Qs .. . 7.-an as . Mrs. Marcella Prinzivalli Mrs. Prinzivalli continues to do a fine job teaching religion to freshmen and sophomores in her third year at Farrell. Mrs. Prinzi- valli has also taught at Mater Dei H.S. She has a B.A. in religious education from St. Francis College. Mrs. Prinzivalli moderates the drama club and list her main interest as caring for her toddler son. I Y Mr. Robert J. Lopez Mr. Lopez is one of the new faces at Farrell this year. He teaches sophomore and senior religion. Mr. Lopez has also worked in high schools and as a youth minister in several states. He hopes to moder- ate retreat work and a youth ministry at Farrell. Mr. Lopez has a B.A. in social studies and an M.A. in religious ed. and would like to begin counseling courses. His many interests included his wife Kathy, his children Michael and Melissa, cooking, baseball, coaching little league and traveling. Believe in yourself. 19

RELIGIOUS Brother Mark A. Maus, CFC. Brother Mans, who can often be heard saying to his freshmen and sophomore religion classes, My dear child of grace is in his third year at Farrell. He earned his B.A. from Iona College and his M.A. from Seton Hall University. Brother previously taught at Bishop Kearney, Bishop Hendricken and Essex Catholic. Brother Maus en- joys boating and is the moderator of the Farrell band. 18 Rev Thomas R. Kelly Father Kelly has been at Farrell for 12 years. He is the head of the Religious Education Department. Father Kelly moderates the Tennis Team, Racquetball and the Art Club. His many interests include sports, travel and photography Father has his B.A., M. Div and M.A. from St. Joseph 's Seminary and College. He has his M.S. in Religious Education from Fordham University and a RH.D. in Supervision and Administration in Education. His favorite quotes are 'iHave a good weekend, do some reading, stay sober and I'll see you in Church. EDUCATIO Eugene Sewell A new addition to our faculty this year is Mr. Sewell. He has a B.A. from Fordham, and did his graduate work in Toronto. Previous to teaching at Farrell, he taught at St. Anthony's H.S. and St. J oseph's H.S. His interests include movies, plays and literature. Mr. Sewell's favorite saying is There is no such thing as a bad boy. He teachers Religious Ed. to our Freshmen and Juniors.

MMVN MM.. , K .M-we Mrs. Blanca Torres-Hayes Mrs. Hayes, now in her second year at Farrell, has taught every level of Spanish. Mrs. Hayes has a B.A. in Spanish Literature and Education. Mrs. Hayes also has experience in administration from her work at the Board of Education. 20 Brother J. G. Sullo, CFC. Brother Sullo is teaching Spanish III in his third year at Farrell. Before coming to Farrell Brother taught at Bergen Catholic, Notre Dame and Bishop Gibbons. Brother Sullo received his B.A. and M.A. from Iona College and Middlebury Language School. In addition to being the chairman ofthe Language, Brother Sullo moderates the J .V Football Team, the Wrestling Team and the Key Club. Brother enjoys tennis, racquetball and Latin American History. Brother Sullo oftens tells his students, Falta de Responsabilidadf' NGVAGE 3 Mr. Peter J. Orleman Mr. Orleman is now in his eighth year here at Farrell. In that time Mr. Orleman has taught all levels of Spanish. In addition to teaching at Farrell Mr. Orelman has also taught at St. Francis H.S. Mr. Orleman has a B.A. in Spanish from Wagner College and an M.S. in Education from Richmond College. Mr. Orleman moderates the Spanish Club. His many interests included films, sports, baseball, the Philadelphia Phillies and popular music.
