The Warriors were stunned by the swiftness of the Taunton squad. jerry Cottrell played tremendously at the unfamiliar fullback position as well as providing the usual spirit in the Coyle line. Other mainstays on the Warrior line were Paul Coucci, Ed Pirozzi, Phil Murphy, Bill Gallagher, and Jim Antosca who tackled and blocked desperately throughout the game.
