The ability to thinla sets man apart from the other creatures of the earth. This gift ol' thought drives talented men to compose writings which stimulate more, and perhaps deeper thought in those who devour them. The English Department attempts to set a thinking cycle in motion within every Bonner student. The presentation of a provocative worlc will hopefully induce the student to associate the particular piece of literature with his own experiences, and then to draw conclusions from these associations. Through this process ol' study, the department hopes to form a well-balanced student who has learned to think on his own. Below-Mr. Ercole Lacianca seems puzzled as Mr. Floyd attempts to explain the basics of the atomic theory, Left-A fully-stocked lihrary is an integral part of any efficient English Department.
