on conf e! DRIVERS FOR '62 were composed of Mr. John Connors, Fr. Francis Dreger and Mr. Jerome Dougherty, moderators. Team members were Tony Yost, Charlie Naspinski, George Muir and Bill Nee. CONTROLLER--Fr. Francis Dreger, a fine golfer in his own right, pays close attention to the tean1's form during a practice. F ollow-through and concentration are the elements that make a good golfer. At Bonner, Fr. Dreger has the job of developing high calibre linksmen. Bon- ner has enjoyed a commendable record in the past, and hopes are high for the team this year. Last year the team's first taste of defeat came in the final round of a hard-fought play-off match with St. James. Hard work and a little luck may be the magic formula which will provide the thrust needed to bring the golf team right on target to the Masters Cup. FLIGHT READINESS-Bill Nee, top Friar on the Catholic League golf tour, executes a per- fect chip shot. Bill's accurate iron shots estab- lished his reputation and improved his score with each succeeding match.

The brilliant record of the 1961 oars- men sets a high standard which this yearis team would be proud to equal. The Bonner Crew returned champs from the Stoteshury Regatta of 1961 and placed second in the Schoolboy Nation- als in Washington, D.C. This year s crew- men have benefited by the experience, training, and the navigation planning of Mr. George Mattson. They stand ready to maintain their position of leadership in Catholic League Crew. THE BASIC TRAJECTORY for this yearis crew team is destined to boost it to city-wide fame. The banner year of 1961 sparked the enthusiasm of all, and when the call for candi- dates came., the turnout was overwhelming. Here Mr. Mattson fstandingl with a careful eye, selects the boys most able to help the tearn again attain victory. GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT-The cur- rent varsity eight, hoping to surpass their prede- cessors' feats, cheerfully carry their shell down to the river to begin practice. Included in this stellar group are ileft to right! Captain T. Halfpenrly, P. Jonik, J. McHugh, C. Reimel, G. Meger, G. Livengood, T. Franey, W. Mc- Casker, and coxswain F. Guaraldo.
