mb' hg ffze p og am The initial thrust that has boosted many of the activities off the ground has been the Fathers and Sons Club. It is largely responsible for the financial backing and the organization of the majority of Bonner enterprises. True to form, the current organization has equaled the fine record of previous years. Its program for the year includes Activities Night, the Bonner Fair, College Night, Career Night, the Communion Breakfast, and numerous others. In every sense of the word, they can be called the G'Founding Fathers of Bonner. A PERFECT LAUNCHING-Since the start of the school year, the Fathers Club has been preparing the build-up to provide the perfect lift-off for the Bonner Fair. The whirlwind activities of thc gala event blazing brightly in this picture are a fitting tribute to the enthusiasm and planning of the Fathers and Sons Association and of its moderator, Father Mahoney. ATDING THE CAUSE-Pictured below are the oliicers of the Fathers and Sons Club who play an instrumental role in boosting the fame of Monsignor Bonner High School. They are fseatedi, Rev. Harry A. CENTRAL CONTROL-One of the oldest organizations in the school is the Radio Club. Under the guidance of their moderator, Mr. Dondero, the members combine an interesting pastime with technical training, which eventu- ally leads to the coveted ham operator's license. This worthwhile extracurricular activity pro- vides an opportunity to acquire a talent which would otherwise take months of intensive study. CHECKOUT-Members of the Chemistry Club watch with satisfaction as the dry words of the textbook become reality. Fr. Spinelli, the mod- erator, offers these enterprising students a chance to probe further the vast galaxy of Chemistry. These future scientists are fortunate in having the opportunity to advance in both thc technical and practical knowledge of the science. BUDDING RESEARCHERS-Fathers McNulty and Laverty explain the intricacies of a frog to several interested members of the Biology Club. With plastic reproductions such as the one pictured above, the student has the ad- vantage of a first-hand, life-like demonstration to serve as a visual aid. Our well-equipped Biology lab offers many facilities which enable the student to further his knowledge of the subject and enjoy his hours of study. .fc knee Hubs

BEHIND THE SEAMS-Officers of the Altar Society, fleft to rightl, Rev. James P. Elliott, 0.S.A., Moderator, Mrs. Devlin, Secretary, Mrs. Meyer, Vice President, and Mrs. Rooney, President, pause to exhibit the fruits of their many hours of hard work. The women of the Altar Society can be rightly proud of their outstanding accomplishments. 1 CHECKING THE PATTERNS-Pictured above are several members of the working force of the Altar Society engaged in ironing and repairing the altar vestments. This photo ade- quately illustrates the quality of the work they perform. Everything is sure to be on the ready after the Altar Mothers complete their tour of duty in the Sacristy. Many quiet hours and much unseen labor go into that personal sacrifice which they make in the service of God. Cheer- fully and eliiciently these line ladies supply fresh linens for the altar and keep the chapel spotlessly clean. The Augustinian Fathers and the Bonner students express deep-felt gratitude for their help. ,Z'-. ,1,f.lSL ,fQs li 'A -s fl! df 5'0C'l?I:V
