ON T0 FRANKLIN FIELD-This was the phrase that helped to orbit our victorious football team to the City Chmpionship. The spirit of the student body was largely responsible for our Friars'5'A-OK performance. When the chips were down, the spontaneous reaction in the stands gave renewed vigor to our gridders, thus triggering another Bonner triumph. mo ale boosters . .. SIGNS OF THE TIMES-The job of bolstering the Bonner athletic program falls into the hands of fleft to righti, K. Gallem, S. Schramm, and V. Mnrziani. Although their work keeps them in the background, their appropriate signs and slogans serve an indispensable purpose in cultivating school spirit in the student body. --,-fs. 'W-.ff-.-.-.sn-sf.. CENTRAL CONTROL-One of the oldest organizations in the school is the Radio Club. Under the guidance of their moderator, Mr. Dondero, the members combine an interesting pastime with technical training, which eventu- ally leads to the coveted ham operator's license. This worthwhile extracurricular activity pro- vides an opportunity to acquire a talent which would otherwise take months of intensive study. CHECKOUT-Members of the Chemistry Club watch with satisfaction as the dry words of the textbook become reality. Fr. Spinelli, the mod- erator, offers these enterprising students a chance to probe further the vast galaxy of Chemistry. These future scientists are fortunate in having the opportunity to advance in both thc technical and practical knowledge of the science. BUDDING RESEARCHERS-Fathers McNulty and Laverty explain the intricacies of a frog to several interested members of the Biology Club. With plastic reproductions such as the one pictured above, the student has the ad- vantage of a first-hand, life-like demonstration to serve as a visual aid. Our well-equipped Biology lab offers many facilities which enable the student to further his knowledge of the subject and enjoy his hours of study. .fc knee Hubs
