One of the organizations at Bonner emblematic of the spirit of Bonner is the Altar Mothers. These zealous and hard working women help to further the spiritual lives of their sons. They shoulder the responsibility for the care of Bonner's chapel and perform a similar func- tion in the Augustinian Monastery. An organization such as this, participated in hy women full of devotion and Christian self-sacrifice, performs an indispensable service to our school. With Fr. James P. Elliott, O.S.A., as their moderator, the Altar Mothers deserve a sincere thanks for their untiring efforts to prepare a deserving place for the coming of the 4'Miracle Worke1'. WITHOUT YOU the smooth func- tioning of the Altar Mothers Associa- tion might prove to he a difficult task. Any organization needs leadership which the Altar Mothers find in their officers and moderator. Pictured are: Cleft to rightl Mrs. '0'Neill, Secre- taryg Mrs. Hauhripk, Vice-Presidentg Fr. ALL PALS TOGETHER when it comes to sports reporting-that's the spirit of the newspaper staff. The sports department consists of: CSeatedJ B. Powers, G. Dinon, B. Cleyeland, C. Schafer, B. Barry, J. Cosnell, J. Sherm. fslandillgi T- Sh0dl0Sky, J. Aicher, D. Gaynor, A. Falgioni, T. Bruderle, C. Bruderle, S. Mask, J. Wyatt, and V. Falgioli. The educated man is the well-informed man. Here at Bonner, thanks to the untiring efforts of THE BONNER BULLETIN staif, we have an efficient method of news distribution through which the student body becomes well informed of all school activities. Bonner's paper offers a wide coverage of all recent sports and social happenings in addition to letters from the Chaplain and the Student Council President. Under the editorship of Rick Hamilton the staff works incessantly towards their goal of pro- fessional journalism. The introduction this year of 'letters to the Editorw and Sports Shots by George Talamini, Sports-editor, typi- fies the continued progress of the Bulletin', towards this goal. SOME WHERE ALONG THE WAY there was a mistake made in laying out the newspaper, D. Gantz, J. McCahon, J. Gasparro, J. Glynn, R. Hamilton, and G. Talamini try to correct this mistake.
