The fine work and guidanee of these two devoted priests makes riflery a reality at Bonner. step in its lruilding proeess. The team, whieh was first organized four years ago. is heginning to look as though it will he competing for quite some time. If the hopes of ohtaining a range on which the team eould practice are realized, this will undoubtedly help to solidify these efforts. Fathers Spinelli and Hughes have given a great deal of time to the development of the team, and with their further efforts Bonner's rifle team will soon be an ll, xf ' established athletic activity. Confidence was a primary factor in the team's march to the championship. OPEN FOR CRITICISM Members of the ,l.V. Bowling team scrutinize the efforts of one of their teammates. Cll- 4 l The 1959 Bonner lrowlers completely dominated the Southern division of the Catholic League with the striking record of 29 matches won and 3 matches lost. A victory over North Catholic gave us the Catholic League title. The Friars then met Southern High in a City Championship howl oil' and walked od with another city title for the men of Bonner. Although there was no outstanding individual star on the team, whenever an exceptional performance was needed, there was always someone to provide it. The team was essentially comprised of Seniors and was coached very ahly lay Rev. Charles Uomlpay and his assistant, Rev. Richard LaHart. ES-Ex I f
