ATTENDANCE As Director of Attendance, Mr. Clovis Smith is responsible for seeing that stu- dents attend school regularly. His many duties also include directing student wel- fare and issuing work permits. COUNSELCR Assisting students in planning their program schedules is Mr. Robert Long. IOUNSELORS Efficiently handling his iob as Boys' Counselor, Mr. Glenn Grout discusses The boys' programs with Them and helps Them overcome The hurdles That They meet. He advises Them on whether to take college, business, or Trade courses and Then assists Them in choosing a sched- ule suited To Their needs. Mr. Glenn Grout, Boys' Counselor, capobly counsels and helps Monrovia boys. 4 Mr. Arthur Langdon, our Dean of Boys, helps boys attain their goals in life, through his competent guidance. Our Dean of Boys, Mr. Arthur Langdon, is in charge of assisting senior boys in choosing their goal in life. He works with each in arranging his class schedule so that it coincides with that goal. He also helps boys solve additional personal problems. 15
