Counseling the senior girls and helping them choose a college or vocation constitute lust two of Miss Ruth Foreman's many responsibilities. As Dean of Girls, she works with the Administrators to make students' years at Monrovia High enioyable, as well as profitable. I4 DEANS ANE Miss Clytis Cummens Girls' Counselor, guides girls through high school by assisting them in planning their school courses and advising them about their future hopes and aspirations. li ....,..- As Assistant Principal, pleasant Mr. Leonard Morris directs student activities and handles school discipline. ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL ll It has been a pleasure working and planning with this year's Senior Class. Our leadership has been out- standing and the student cooperation has exceeded my fondest expectations. The underclassmen will benefit greatly from the precedent you have established. I feel certain the Class of '61 will long be remembered as one of the finest classes in the history of our High School in the Valley. BUSINESS MANAGER Responsible for obtaining all our school supplies is Mr. Paul Addis, Monrovia High's Business Manager. He takes care of our school needs, from pens and pencils to printing presses. Mr. Addis also supervises, the Busi- ness and Accounting Office, the Maintenance and C-us- todial Departments, transportation and the Cafeteria Staff. Our young and personable Business Manager, Mr. Paul Addis, takes care of the business end of things at Monrovia High School. 13

IOUNSELORS Efficiently handling his iob as Boys' Counselor, Mr. Glenn Grout discusses The boys' programs with Them and helps Them overcome The hurdles That They meet. He advises Them on whether to take college, business, or Trade courses and Then assists Them in choosing a sched- ule suited To Their needs. Mr. Glenn Grout, Boys' Counselor, capobly counsels and helps Monrovia boys. 4 Mr. Arthur Langdon, our Dean of Boys, helps boys attain their goals in life, through his competent guidance. Our Dean of Boys, Mr. Arthur Langdon, is in charge of assisting senior boys in choosing their goal in life. He works with each in arranging his class schedule so that it coincides with that goal. He also helps boys solve additional personal problems. 15
