New faces of The 1960 seniors composed The largesT graduaT- ing class in M-D's hisTory. New face-liTTs on campus, including The renovaTion of The Main Building and The esTablishmenT of a brand-new lang- uage laboraTory, added To The fresh spiriT of The school. KirsTen Thomson of Denmark and OcTavio Sosa of Panama became well-known new faces. They arrived as American Field Service represenTaTives To spend a year living lives Typical ol' Their American confemporaries.
