Shakespeare Dedication -h ■ jjj j -..y- - .._ •XZSZ mr igg| We, the fifty-fifth class to graduate from Monroeville High School, wish to dedicate this book to its friendly walls, that hold fond memories of happy hours, cherished friendships, serious endeavor and lasting achievement. We are happy t o complete our courses within the walls that we entered four years ago, for there is a friendly spirit in back of them that has become traditional. This building will serve always to remind us of those days spent in pursuit of knowledge and enjoy¬ ment. We shall always recall with pleasure these years that hold such happy memor le s. r “All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.’ William Shakespeare directors PRODUCERS C faculty ) “Knowledge is Power” Francis Bacon _ _ Scenes From School Days Presented by the Class o f “54” Directors and Producers (Faculty).8-12 Scene I. . .“Senior Memories”.15-26 Scene II. . .“Typical Teentimes” ( ' Underclassmen ) .29 34 Scene III. . .“Glimpses of Grade School”.37-46 Intermission. . .“Melody Madness”.49 54 Scene IV. . .“Spotlight on Sports”.57-64 “Added Attractions ’ ’ (Extra-curricular).67-70 Stage C rew.71 7 Principal. Besides holding this position as principal, he teaches Biology and Manual Training. Our principal has taken an active part in civic organizations. He is a past president of the Lions Club and at the present time he is treasurer of the Community Park A ssociation. Mr, Martin takes a personal, as well as a business and academic, interest in the school and student body. Although he is a busy man, he always has the time to spend with the students who have problems. We, the class of 1954, wish to express our appreciation to Mr. Martin for the help and advice that he has so willingly given us during our stay at Monroeville High School. 8 Faculty Beth Sorgen: 1st.
