Five Hundred Mile Club BACK ROW: john Smith, Tom Wendt, Jerry Usselman, Tim Simon, Kyle I-leyman, Ron Smith, Donavan Karnehm, Andy Bores FRONT ROW: Mr. Sheppard-Coach, Maryanne Ruffing, Mary Graham, Sherry Kowal sky, Barb Smith, Kathy Caldwell Who would ever want to run ive hundred miles? Ask any of these people, members of the Five Hundred Mile Club. Of course no one runs five hundred miles in a day, but by running a little each day it can be ac- complished. The club is now in its second year, being coached by Mr. Sheppard. Members are planning a camping trip to Mohican Park this summer for those who run five hundred miles by the end of the school year. Five hundred miles is a long way to run. It will take determination, perseverance, and plenty of ambition to reach that goal.
