Dave Colahan League total points 329 Average ...... 16.5 Dave was voted the most valuable player on the squad and selected as a member of the Huron- Erie League and Huron County All-Star teams. He now holds the single game scoring record of 44 points in one game. He was the top scorer on the team for the season and third in league scoring, 167. JOHN WACHTEL Dick Palmer After being unable to play the first semester, . he came back to work with us in the last half of the year and did a real good iob as we would use him at either guard spot, and be sure of having a good job done. He has very good speed and quick movements. DIC K PALMER John Wachtel League total points 65 Average ...... 3.3 John, a senior, was chosen Co-Captain of the Eagles for the 1958-59 season. John held the key spot in our defense as the outside chaser and on the offense he was our play maker. He was a real team memberyand always worked as such . DAVE FARRIS Phil Colahan League total points 248 Average ...... 12.4 John Gravenhorst League total points 112 Average ...... 5.6 John, a senior, was chosen Co-Captain of the Eagles for the 1958-59 season. He was chosen as a member of the Huron-Erie League All-Star team. John was one of the better rebounders on the team as he averaged 9 rebounds a game. JOHN GRAVENHORST Dave Farris League total points 311 Average ...... 15.5 Dave as a sophomore was selected on both the Huron-Erie League and County All-Star teams. He was a tremendous rebounder, averaging 16 rebounds a game. He was the second leading scorer on the team and was second in league scoring, 172. We are looking forward to better things next year. PHIL COLAHAN Phil, like brother Dave was on both the Coun- ty and Huron-Erie League All-Star teams. He was known around the league as a good set shot. He was the third high scorer on the team. Phil still has one more year to shine for the Eagles. 27
