LASLEY We dedicate this 1959 Quill to Mr. T. J. Lasley, our friendly and capable superin- tendent, who never tires in his endeavors to make our school a more desirable and bet- ter one, and who strives constantly to mold students into good citizens. As advisor for the Student Council and Col- lege Prep Club, he encouragesstudent par- ticipation, and creates a desire for higher learning. In the three years Mr. Lasley has been with us, we have learned to admire and respect him. 3 THOMAS J. LASLEY Superintendent Seniors Soon you will becomea part of the adult world. Your efforts and energy will be concentrated toward earning a living May you never become so engrossed in the attainment of material things that you lose sight of the beautiful, as seen in those about you and nature itself. Perhaps the words of Wordsworth best convey my message: The world is too much with us, Late and soon, Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers, Little we see in nature that is ours. WWW?
