This progress is illus- trated by St. Joseph's victory over Monroe early in the season. Later Monroe smoothly counteracted and was victorious over St. Joseph with a score of 64 - 31. The eighth grade football team finished with a 2-1-1 record. Their best game was an 18-O victory over Roosevelt. The boys gained much experience in passing, blocking, and kicking. Mr. Wilson said at the beginning of the year that his ninth wrestlers had great potential, and this was later proven, as the boys had a great sea- son.
