Problem of transportation to Adrian is under discussion. November 16. Lost to Adrian I9-20. Some crooked work on part of refereeg Monroe lost few seconds of play. Largest crowd of Monroe people that ever went to Adrian. November 20. juniors order rings and pins. November 21. Monroe 6, Ypsi 7. Aw Heck! Monroe Qaffj vs. Adrian debating. Two to one in our favor. VVe can beat 'em with gift o' gab anyway. November 24. Lot of propaganda on the boards inviting boys to show some spirit by attending girls' volley ball games. Championship goes to Sophs. juniors won two and lost one. Seniors distinguish themselves by winning one and losing two. Fresh lose all. November 27. Report cards. December 1. Basket ball for both boys and girls starts today. No second team for boys this year. December 3. Girls demand to play preliminary games. December 8. Fourteen more shopping days before Christmas. December 12. Basket ball! juniors victorious over Seniors, and Pe- tersburg lost to Monroe High 21-IS. Debating, VVyandotte taflfj vs. Mon- roe. 2-I. 'Nother victory. Two in one day! December 19. Vacation for two weeks-almost too good to be true. january 5. Back to the old grind. Nobody remeinoers anytning ever learned before. No more long vacations until june. january 8. Cast for The Florist Shop chosen. Report cards. january 9. Basket ball. Grosse Isle vs. Us. Subs all get a chance. Score 31-I I. Tumbling team gives first exhibition. january 14. Reviews begin. Time for those with 3 A's and 2 B's to slack up. January I6. Debate with Ecorse Qneg.j. Unanimous decision for us. Basket ball-lost to Birmingham 33-37. Wow! january 17. junior girls play Britton girls' basket ball team. Lose I4-IO. A january 21. Monroe vs. Grosse Pointe. IQ-7. Again? Senior girls beat juniors 7-6 in very exciting game. january 23. VVyandotte vs. Monroe. 22-20. A close game but we won out. January 26-29. Exams. February 23. Exam week again. .1 vacation but were fooled. Classes ran in regular order. February 4. Monroe vs. Tri-State University of Toledo. 23--22. Lost by one point! February 6. Second Annual High School Frolic. Great success. February 9. Rain!
