------------A-wwwa------------ TUMBLING The Tumbling Team, consisting of Forrest Leedy, Leo Snyder and Ralph l-lundley, have made a splendid record for themselves by their unusually fine exhibitions of mat work and work on the parallel bars. The two funny men, Harry Shenk and Oliver Rauch, deserve much praise for their efforts also. The team first appeared this year at Lincoln gym when they gave an exhibition of mat work in the intermission of a basketball game. Their next appearance was at the Family theatre at the annual High School Frolic. At this time some splendid work was done and those attending were most en- thusiastic ovcr their work and that of the Pyramid Team, which gave an exhibition at the same time. The Hall of the Divine Child boys thoroughly enioyed an exhibition on one occasion, and the members of the Fellowcraft Club were entertained at the Masonic Temnle by the team shortly after that date. Then the bovs attended the state meet at Ypsilanti and made an ex- cellent showing. winning third place among' such compettors as Ann Arbor, Saginaw. Detroit Eastern. Ralph Hundley lost first place for individual work bv only one-half point. + M ------------ relM5wm --i- ------- ----

Due, however, to the green- ness of the material and aided and abetted by the unusually rainy weather, the season was not especially successful so far as winning games was concerned. However, much material was developed for 1925 as the season this year so far shows. The best game was playe dat Birmingham. The locals were defeated by a score of 3 to 2 when in the ninth inning, Birmingham succeeded in putting across the winning run. lt was an exciting and a close game and some excellent work was done by the home boys.
