MISS DORIS LAMOREE Dedication This year marks The nineTeenTh year of service To Monroe High School for one who has devoTed herself unselfishly To The educaTion and guidance of iTs sTudenTs. l'laving'previously held posiTions,aT WashingTon and Madison High Schools, she came To Monroe in I94O asa Teacher-secreTary. Following a change in The organi- zaTion of school adminisTraTion, she became a Teacher in The Business EducaTion DeparTmenT and has TaughT courses in reTailing and in exploraTory business. In l950, having compleTed her preparaTion in counseling, she became a member of The guidance counseling sTaTT in Monroe. Since ThaT Time. she has served Three classes-some eighT hundred sTudenTs-during Their years in high school from The TenTh grade Through graduaTion. We are happy To say ThaT we know her well and have beneTiTed Trom our acquainTance wiTh her during The Three years ThaT we have spenT under her guidance. Now, as we graduaTe, she graduaTes wiTh us, Tor she has chosen To reTire aT The close oT This school year. However, she sTill wanTs To remain associaTed wiTh educaTion and young people.'
